The basis of power system in Russia is complete transformer substation for voltage 220 and 110 kV. Mostly of the substations in use now were produced on Kuibyshev (Samara) «Electroshield» plant which is now renamed in Electroshield Samara. The company continues to supply complete unit modernized transformer substations KTP-SESH-B(M) with voltage class 35, 110 and 220 kV. Since 2005 the enterprise produces and supplies indoor distribution substations for voltage 35, 110 and 220 kV. In the present time the plant started to produce indoor substations with SF6 insulation KRUE for voltage 110 kV. Electroshield Samara is the leader in production of complete transformer substations for voltage 35, 110 and 220 kV.
Substations produced on Electroshield Samara operate reliably in all regions of the Russian Federation and abroad. Substations are produced as per the current typical diagrams of electric connections in the country. Substations are produced also as per non typical diagrams. The structure of substations allows in the future to perform its stage by stage development without extra works for upgrade. Substation supply as ready made, completely assembled units under factory conditions allows to reduce significantly time for installation, improve product quality, increase operation reliability of the equipment. Substations are equipped with microprocessor protection systems, telemechanized. On the customer’s request the substations are equipped both with home and foreign equipment. Rigid busbar is installed on them resistant to wind, ice and seismic loads. Rigid busbar can be supplied both as a substation set and separately. Local substation operation is performed from the substation control house (OPU). OPU can be supplied both as a substation set and separately.
Substations have not only GOST R compliance certificate but also certified in JSC «ROSSETI» and other companies. The working construction and technological documentation is developed considering remarks and proposals of design institutes and operating organizations. The substation structure has minimum operating costs. Quality management system of the company is approved by the certificate ISO 9001.
