On Tuesday 17th of April acting for the governor of the Samara Region Dmitry Azarov discussed with the president of CJSC GC Electroshield - TM Samara Eric Brisset the company development issues and company interaction with the government of the Samara Region. In particular, there was talk about the joint implementation in the region the pilot project "Smart city".
Eric Brisset spoke in detail about the company work in 2017 and noted that the future prospects of Electroshield are related to participation in large innovative projects, introduction of new products and technologies, and their localization.
According to Brisset, the company is provided with orders for the next five years. Thanks to a clear strategy, Electroshield surpassed the world's largest companies for the right to participate in the project "Power of Siberia." For a year and a half the enterprise will supply equipment for the automation of 38 substations of the strategic project for oil and gas industry.
The company also signed a contract with "T-Plus" for 700 million rubles: it provides for participation in the construction of the solar substation in the Orenburg region. Together with the other Samara companies and corporations, Electroshield actively participates in the implementation of investment projects of PJSC NOVATEK in the Arctic circle - "Arctic-SPG 2" and "Kola shipyard". In the project Kola shipyard Electroshield will participate in the equipment of the digital substation "Belokamenka". As for "Arctic-SPG 2" designed up to 2024, negotiations are carried on for the further stages of cooperation.
Dmitry Azarov noted that the participation of Samara enterprise in strategic projects allows the company to look confidently forward the future.
"The victories in the competition serve as evidence of the product quality, and successful modernization that has taken place in the production over recent years. Having no competitive advantages, it is impossible to win the struggle for participation in large-scale projects," underlined Dmitry Azarov.
Eric Brisset drew the attention of the head of the region that one of the company's priorities is the implementation of advanced projects in the area of digital energetics. Already there is the first experience: innovations of Electroshield were used in the construction of the first Russian digital substation for 110 kV in Siberia. It was launched in December last year with the participation of the Russian President Vladimir Putin and was the first step in the digitalization of the electrical networks of the country.
"The use of our equipment is a sign that we are leaders in this area. Digitalization is important, it gives two advantages: reliability and energy efficiency," the president of GC Electroshield said.
He also expressed readiness to implement similar programs in the Samara region as part of the pilot project "Smart City". Already indicated the outlines of a common project with MRSK Volgi, which will become the basis for energy security and stable operation of the power supply system in the region.
Dmitry Azarov assured that the government of the region is interested in the implementation of the project "Smart City". "Together we will create the conditions under which the Samara region will work using smart technologies in all sectors," he underlined.
Dmitry Azarov and Eric Brisset agreed to specify the details of the project in May at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
At the end of the meeting, Eric Brisset sounded one of the main goals of Electroshield for the next few years - foreign market representation. The company expects to increase the export component in two- three years from 5% to 20%.
According to the president, the company's recent tenders for the supply of equipment to foreign countries show that the task is possible.
Electroshield is able to compete abroad and be convincing. Our proposals were optimized in such a way that no one could offer an equivalent. And we realized: why not? Expansion of export is a great program that will ensure new loads and prosperity of Electroshield outside of Russia," said Eric Brisset.
Dmitry Azarov supported the ambitious plans of CJSC GС Electroshield -TM Samara. "I welcome your commitment to expansion of markets, product supply for export. If the company is competitive in world markets, then it means the most modern technologies, this is the development of high technologies in the territory of the Russian Federation and the Samara region. We are ready to support this work," - summed up Dmitry Azarov.
