Electroshield Samara to Present its Products at Electric Networks International Forum in Russia

Electroshield Samara will participate in the Electric Networks International Forum, which will be held in Moscow on December 4-7 at VDNKh Exhibition Centre, Pavilion No. 75. During the upcoming Forum representatives of Electroshield Samara will take part in the business programme, as well as in the exhibition where they will demonstrate a number of innovations aimed at digitalization of the energy sector.

As part of the exhibition Electroshield Samara will showcase its three solutions: KRU-SESH-70 35 kV switchgear and control gear of the indoor installation with vacuum circuit breakers, KRU-SESH-70 20 kV switchgear and control gear and NKU-SESH-M LV switchgear. The key features of KRU-SESH-70 35 kV cubicle include safety due to isolating cabinets from remotely controlled switching devices, compact design with cubicles of only 1200 mm wide, and maintenance convenience provided by locating busbars in the upper part of the cubicle (the best position for connecting cable lines) and placing the current transformer in its lower part. Extensive and long-standing experience of working with design and installation companies was taken into account when developing the KRU-SESH-70 20 kV device. All the main components (a switch, current and voltage transformers and insulators) have been made at Electroshield Samara, which guarantees their reliable joint performance. The KRU-SESH-70 20 kV device has been equipped with full remote control of the withdrawable element, the switch and the earthing device, which helps to respond faster in case of emergencies and significantly increases energy efficiency of the substation in general. One of the key models of the exhibition is going to be NKU-SESH-M LV switchgear with wireless remote control. It is designed for receiving and distributing the energy of the three-phase alternating current and protects the system from short-circuiting and network overloads. The cabinets are made with the option for remote control and wireless monitoring. This enables grid operators to access the control panel from their smartphone or tablet PC and monitor the process of operating the equipment. The device is equipped with a unique mechanism to switch and block the automatic circuit breaker with the help of a manual drive in order to instantly restart the device as soon as the emergency situation is over. “The Electric Networks Forum is a key event in the electric power industry. The federal government seeks to transform the energy infrastructure through digital technologies. The forum will bring the main players of the Russian and international markets together to discuss future prospects and global trends of smart energy. Electroshield Samara has been working continuously on creating digital products in various fields. Taking part in the Electric Networks Forum is not just an opportunity to demonstrate our recent advances that make the transition to smart substations possible, but also a chance to discuss the stages of creating the country’s smart network and the regulatory barriers that we are facing,” says Nikita Kopytov, Director of Technical Support and Product Development Department at Electroshield Samara.
